PRESENT

Privacy-Preserving & Trustworthy AI

Advancing research in Homomorphic Encryption, Privacy-Preserving AI, Cybersecurity, Agentic AI and Secure Computing.

Secure Intelligence Without Sacrificing Privacy

How can we benefit from increasingly intelligent computational systems without surrendering the privacy, security and trustworthiness of the data on which they depend?

I investigate this question through privacy-preserving artificial intelligence, with particular emphasis on Homomorphic Encryption, encrypted machine learning and inference, secure clinical prediction, federated learning, privacy-preserving agentic AI and cybersecurity.

A recurring objective across these research directions is to move beyond theoretical privacy guarantees toward practical, measurable and reproducible secure-AI systems that can operate in real-world and resource-constrained environments.

Making Complex Computing Concepts Understandable

Teaching has remained a central part of my academic career. Over more than two decades, I have taught and mentored students across different levels of higher education.

My teaching interests span Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cryptography and Privacy-Preserving Computing.

I am particularly committed to student-centred and application-oriented learning, using practical demonstrations, algorithm visualisation, problem-solving exercises, project-based learning and research-led teaching.

Beyond the classroom, I mentor undergraduate researchers and encourage students to explore contemporary problems in AI, cybersecurity, privacy-preserving technologies and secure computing.

Contributing Beyond the Classroom

Alongside teaching and research, I have contributed to academic administration, institutional service and international academic engagement.

At Woxsen University's School of Technology, my responsibilities have included academic and international-relations roles supporting institutional collaboration and global engagement.

My broader academic service encompasses student mentorship, curriculum and assessment activities, research collaboration, scholarly reviewing, faculty development and participation in institutional academic initiatives.

I view academic leadership as an extension of scholarship: creating environments that support students, faculty members, research collaboration and meaningful institutional development.

Collaboration Across Institutions & Borders

My academic career increasingly involves international and interdisciplinary engagement through research collaboration, institutional partnerships, faculty development, scholarly networks and cross-border academic interaction.

I remain open to collaborative research, visiting academic opportunities, joint publications, student research partnerships and initiatives that strengthen international knowledge exchange.

Research. Teach. Mentor. Collaborate.

My academic journey continues to be driven by curiosity about emerging computing technologies and by a commitment to applying them responsibly.
